Empower students and collaborate with educational staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis near Boston, MA. Make an immediate impact supporting schools and helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience supporting students with challenging behaviors in school settings
- Strong skills in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing effective behavior intervention plans
- Ability to provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student behavior needs through observation, FBA, and data-driven analysis
- Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Train and support staff and families on behavior intervention strategies and techniques
- Collect, monitor, and report on behavioral data to ensure plan effectiveness
- Participate in student and team meetings, contributing essential behavioral expertise
- Support generalization of skills across classroom settings and school environments
- Remain current on best practices and ethical guidelines in behavior analysis
