Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • Previous experience supporting children and adolescents in school or educational settings
  • Thorough understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Proven ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, students, and families
  • Ability to train and mentor school personnel on behavioral strategies
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students identified with behavioral challenges
  • Conduct data analysis to inform interventions and measure progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support
  • Offer training and guidance for teachers, aides, and families on best practices
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and student support meetings as a behavioral expert
  • Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements
