Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or educational setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and data-driven assessments
  • Skillful in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including educators, counselors, and families
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and report-writing abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and environments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify student needs
  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Train and support teachers and staff in the implementation of positive behavioral supports
  • Offer direct and indirect intervention services to students as necessary
  • Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust plans for optimal results
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with school district policies
