Job Description
Serve a vibrant educational community just outside Boston by supporting preschool and kindergarten learners as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work full time (35 hours per week, approximately 7:45 am - 3:30 pm) with 3- to 6-year-olds enrolled in both public schools and local community partner sites within an ASD program. The district is recognized for its diverse and inclusive culture, fostering each child's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development, and cherishing each students individuality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments in preschool and kindergarten classrooms.
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized behavior intervention plans for students with ASD.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, classroom staff, school psychologists, and families to ensure consistency and success of behavioral support strategies.
- Deliver direct and consultative services, provide staff training, and collect ongoing data to track student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Massachusetts.
- Experience working with young children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in a school or early childhood setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt strategies to support diverse learning and behavioral needs.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
