A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with schools in the area. This role focuses on supporting students with behavioral needs and collaborating with educators and families to ensure successful outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proven experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized plans
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles within a school setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide training and support for school personnel and families
- Familiarity with special education regulations and documentation requirements
- Compassionate, creative approach to supporting students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students behavioral and social-emotional needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff to provide strategies and support
- Gather and analyze behavioral data to inform decisions and measure student progress
- Facilitate professional development and training sessions for school staff
- Attend IEP or team meetings and contribute expert input regarding behavioral strategies
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and involve them in the process
