Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available at a specialized school dedicated to educating students who are blind or visually impaired. This role serves K-12 age groups and requires a Maryland BCBA license. The position offers a five-day workweek, providing consistent hours in a rewarding educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress.
  • Monitoring and documenting student behavior and treatment outcomes.
  • Providing training and consultation to school staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards related to behavior analysis.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Current BCBA certification with licensure valid in Maryland.
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents, preferably within a school setting.
  • Expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) with ability to design and implement behavior support strategies.
