Job Description
Take your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise into an engaging educational environment near Baltimore, supporting a diverse group of students through year-round learning. This contract position offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of 18 students across three classrooms, working collaboratively with dedicated educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification for Maryland (MD BCBA required)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt behavioral interventions for students of varying ages
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct services and consultative support for students and school staff
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective interventions
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust behavior plans as needed
- Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to all regulatory requirements
This full-time role is set at 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligned with a year-round school schedule. Youll manage a dynamic caseload and play a key role in creating positive school experiences for students from diverse backgrounds.
