A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available in Joliet, IL, offering a 35-hour workweek within a school setting. This contract position serves early childhood through 8th grade students within a cooperative programming environment during the 26/27 school year.
Key qualifications include holding an active Illinois BCBA certification. Experience working with a range of student ages, particularly early childhood to middle school, is essential. The role involves developing and implementing behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of students, collaborating with educational staff and families, and monitoring caseload progress.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and analysis
- Designing and overseeing behavior intervention strategies
- Training and supporting educators and paraprofessionals in behavior management techniques
- Collecting and analyzing data to ensure effective program outcomes
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student behaviors
