Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, active and in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience providing behavioral analysis in a school setting or with children and adolescents
  • In-depth knowledge of FBA and BIP development and implementation
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to ethical practices and student-centered interventions
  • Adaptability and organization, thriving in an educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to guide the implementation of positive behavioral supports
  • Train staff in behavioral strategies and best practices to foster a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and analyze data to assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Provide direct support to students with behavioral and developmental needs
  • Advocate for effective inclusion and individualized approaches within the school community
