Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (LBS1 endorsement) is mandatory
- Previous experience in school settings or with students with diverse learning needs preferred
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, working closely with educators, related service providers, and families
Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor behavior support plans for elementary and middle school students across campuses
- Provide direct and consultative BCBA services in both low incidence (STARS program) and resource classrooms
- Collect data, analyze behavioral trends, and adjust interventions for optimal student outcomes
- Facilitate staff training and parent meetings on best practices in behavior management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure equitable access to education for all students
Position Details:
- Contract assignment following a traditional school-year calendar (August June)
- Full-time schedule at 37.5 hours weekly, with varied school start/end times
- Engage with a broad caseload of students, ranging from those in specialized low incidence programs to those in resource settings
