An exciting opportunity awaits for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking a flexible, contract-based position serving high school students in the Arlington Heights, IL area. Key Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement
- Experience working with adolescents or high school-aged youth preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral strategies in educational settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for high school students
- Collaborate with educators, related services, and support staff to implement effective strategies
- Provide direct consultation and training to staff to support student behavioral success
- Collect and analyze behavioral data; make data-driven recommendations for program adjustments
- Serve as a valuable team member, participating in IEP meetings and school-based problem-solving teams
