Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to design and implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and analyze functional behavior assessments to develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to teachers and school staff on implementing behavioral strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as needed
- Train and support paraprofessionals, ensuring fidelity to recommended plans and strategies
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on student goals
- Maintain up-to-date and thorough records, adhering to all confidentiality and regulatory guidelines
