Job Description

Step into a pivotal role as a BCBA/Autism Specialist, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference for students and staff across four school sites through the 20262027 school year. This rewarding, onsite-only contract opportunity focuses on enhancing support for students with autism by providing direct behavior consultation, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing targeted Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and empowering educators with practical coaching and hands-on guidance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current, active BCBA certification (please include a snapshot of your certification with your application)
  • Previous experience as a school-based BCBA or extensive involvement supporting students with autism
  • Demonstrated skill in completing FBAs and developing BIPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Proven ability to coach and collaborate with teachers and paraprofessionals on implementing behavioral strategies
  • Background working within autism-specific classroom settings and as part of multidisciplinary teams

Role Expectations:

  • Deliver consultation and intervention services across four school campuses, as assigned
  • Lead the assessment process to develop and oversee individualized BIPs
  • Provide classroom coaching, modeling effective interventions for staff working with students on the autism spectrum
  • Travel reliably between assigned sites and maintain effective communication and punctuality
  • Assist with staff training, data analysis, and parent communications as needed

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a drug screen, fingerprinting, and CORI/background check
  • Capability to notify both school and recruiter in the event of unplanned absences due to illness
  • Ability to complete all onboarding requirements promptly after hire
