Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, valid state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
  • Knowledge of diagnostic hearing evaluations, auditory processing assessment, and amplification systems
  • Excellent communication skills for consultations with students, families, and staff
  • Strong organizational talents and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiologic assessments for students of all ages
  • Interpret results and develop individualized recommendations or follow-up action plans for students
  • Collaborate with special education teams regarding auditory accommodations and assistive technologies
  • Provide counseling and education to students, families, and school personnel regarding hearing loss and interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with privacy regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
