Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid state audiology license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Prior experience working in educational settings highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students of varying ages and needs
  • Interpret test results and develop individualized recommendations for support and intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure optimal learning environments
  • Provide direct services such as auditory training, hearing aid management, and classroom accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Offer staff in-service and training on hearing-related topics as needed
  • Participate in IEP/504 meetings, contributing valuable insight on student needs
