Job Description
A school-based audiologist position is available in West Sacramento, CA. This contract role involves providing comprehensive audiological services to students within an educational setting, ensuring proper hearing assessments and interventions to support their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized hearing management plans.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support students auditory needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Provide counseling and education to students and families regarding hearing loss and hearing aid management.
Qualifications:
- Valid audiology license and certification.
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric audiology settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of state and federal educational guidelines related to hearing services.
