Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment skills for auditory impairments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster trust with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and audiological evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized management and intervention plans
  • Provide auditory training, counseling, and recommendations for classroom accommodations or assistive technology
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational planning
  • Maintain timely, accurate records and reports in compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
