Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an audiologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and managing hearing disorders in children
- Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and educators
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students of varying ages
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and accommodations
- Provide direct therapy and support services for students with hearing impairments
- Recommend and oversee fitting of assistive listening devices and hearing aids
- Consult with teachers and staff, providing strategies for classroom accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Offer training and educational sessions for school staff and parents
