Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice Audiology in the state
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong communication and consultative skills for interaction with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of hearing assistive technology and device troubleshooting

What youll do:

  • Conduct hearing assessments and evaluations for students referred by school staff or parents
  • Interpret test results and develop individualized recommendations to optimize access to instruction
  • Provide input for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate in eligibility meetings
  • Deliver support, training, and resources to faculty and families on classroom accommodations and hearing devices
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, assist with fitting, and ensure consistent student access to the curriculum
  • Travel between assigned campuses within the district as needed
