Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current, valid licensure to practice Audiology
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational or school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to perform comprehensive hearing assessments and recommend appropriate interventions
- Familiarity with assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and hearing loss management strategies
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations for students, identifying hearing impairments and related challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school teams
- Provide direct services and consultation to students, families, teachers, and other educational personnel
- Monitor student progress and document findings according to best practices and compliance standards
- Educate school staff and parents on hearing loss, technology use, and classroom accommodations
- Support implementation and maintenance of assistive listening devices and hearing aids
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary educational process
