Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
• ASHA certification (CCC-A) preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with hearing impairments
• Fit and manage hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening devices as needed
• Provide training and support to staff and families on hearing-related accommodations in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Collaborate regularly with special education teams to support IEP development and student progress
