Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Audiologist
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • ASHA certification (CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform audiological assessments, including tympanometry, pure tone and speech audiometry

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Recommend, fit, and manage hearing assistive technology or amplification devices
  • Create educational materials and provide training to staff and families about hearing health and effective classroom accommodations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Contribute to a positive, accessible learning environment by advocating for students auditory needs
