Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure in Audiology (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Experience providing audiological services within school settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with a range of hearing assessment tools and assistive technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and screenings for students as needed
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings effectively to parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized recommendations and interventions to support student participation in the learning environment
  • Program, manage, and maintain classroom amplification systems and hearing assistive technology devices
  • Provide consultation and training for staff and families on hearing health, assistive technology, and strategies to support students with hearing loss
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of student plans
