Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure in Audiology (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Experience providing audiological services within school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with a range of hearing assessment tools and assistive technologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and screenings for students as needed
- Interpret test results and communicate findings effectively to parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized recommendations and interventions to support student participation in the learning environment
- Program, manage, and maintain classroom amplification systems and hearing assistive technology devices
- Provide consultation and training for staff and families on hearing health, assistive technology, and strategies to support students with hearing loss
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of student plans
