Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
• Experience or trained in school-based audiology services highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt auditory assessment and treatment plans for the school environment
• Proficiency in current audiological equipment and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, screenings, and evaluations in compliance with school policies
• Develop and implement individualized plans to address hearing and listening needs for students
• Maintain clear documentation and progress reports in line with district requirements
• Provide guidance to teachers, staff, and parents regarding appropriate classroom accommodations
• Collaborate with IEP/504 teams on student progress, intervention strategies, and goal planning
• Engage in student and staff education about hearing health, care, and safe listening practices
• Assist with fitting, maintenance, and monitoring of assistive listening devices
