Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid Georgia Audiologist licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school systems
- Proficient in evaluation, diagnosis, and management of auditory disorders
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Aptitude for adapting to diverse student needs and educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive hearing screenings and assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized auditory interventions and management plans
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other specialists to support student learning
- Manage and maintain hearing assistive devices, including troubleshooting and basic repairs
- Provide training and consultation to school staff on auditory health and assistive technology
- Ensure documentation complies with federal, state, and district regulations
