Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
- Experience working with children or in school-based environments preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and diverse caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students
- Interpret results and develop individualized recommendations or interventions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and other professionals to create optimal learning environments
- Monitor and manage amplification devices, including hearing aids and assistive technology
- Deliver in-service training for staff on hearing loss accommodations, equipment, and inclusion strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and prepare evaluation reports as required by school and state guidelines
- Support early identification and ongoing support for students with hearing disorders
