Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hearing assessment tools and assistive listening devices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students

  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to facilitate appropriate accommodations and support
  • Offer in-service training to staff on hearing health and assistive technology use
  • Ensure timely and effective communication regarding students progress and needs
