Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting students across a K-12 district as an Audiologist for a contract maternity leave position. Based on-site at a central office equipped with a state-of-the-art testing booth, this flexible opportunity lets you craft a schedule that fits your lifestylechoose between one full day a week plus an additional flexible day, or two half days weekly, with the possibility to add more hours as needed.

In this essential role, you will:

• Conduct and support Special Education Evaluations, including Deaf and Hard of Hearing assessments.
• Review medical records and perform hearing testing in the audiology booth.
• Provide expertise on Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT).
• Recommend appropriate HAT for students and assist in procurement decisions.
• Collaborate closely with DHH teachers and campus staff to train and offer ongoing support in using FM systems and other assistive devices.
• Ensure seamless communication and support for students, teachers, and families across the district.

Ideal candidates possess:

• A current Texas audiologist professional license.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based audiology preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for fostering accessible and inclusive learning environments.
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and district-wide needs.
