Bring your expertise as a schools-based Audiologist to a rewarding contract opportunity near beautiful Northern California. Youll partner with educators, families, and other specialists to assess, diagnose, and manage hearing challenges so every child can reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Prior experience providing audiology services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Proficiency in conducting a full range of audiological assessments for children
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive hearing screenings and diagnostic examinations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and recommendations related to hearing needs
- Fit, monitor, and troubleshoot assistive listening devices and hearing aids
- Provide consultation and in-service training to teachers, staff, and parents
- Maintain clear, timely records and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support students access to the general education curriculum through tailored interventions
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support student success
