Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) preferred
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is strongly valued
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and communicate findings clearly
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students
- Interpret results and develop individualized recommendations for interventions or accommodations
- Provide hearing aid and assistive technology support and monitoring
- Offer consultation, training, and resources to teachers, staff, and families to promote optimal auditory access
- Collaborate with IEP teams to create student-centered goals and participate in meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
