Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Valid state license or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with pediatric audiological evaluation and intervention

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations for students of varying ages
• Make recommendations regarding amplification devices, classroom accommodations, and therapy as needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other educational staff to facilitate optimal student learning
• Document and report findings to parents and school personnel in a clear, supportive manner
• Participate in the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide guidance on hearing conservation practices within the educational setting
