Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Audiology
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnose auditory conditions, and recommend interventions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster partnerships with students, families, and educators

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and auditory function assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans for students identified with hearing impairments
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and special education staff to support students unique educational needs
  • Assist in the selection, fitting, and management of hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive listening devices
  • Provide education and consultation to school personnel and families about hearing wellness and classroom accommodations
  • Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
