Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Audiology
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Ability to conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnose auditory conditions, and recommend interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster partnerships with students, families, and educators
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and auditory function assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans for students identified with hearing impairments
- Collaborate closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and special education staff to support students unique educational needs
- Assist in the selection, fitting, and management of hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive listening devices
- Provide education and consultation to school personnel and families about hearing wellness and classroom accommodations
- Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
