Step into a dynamic, school-based audiologist role supporting the success of students across Pre-K to 12th grade, focusing on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) population. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours with some scheduling flexibility, as well as the chance to travel between multiple campuses, making a meaningful impact in the Kansas City area.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active professional audiology license issued by the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or another recognized Kansas state credentialing authority.
• Possess a masters or doctoral degree in audiology.
• Experience supporting the DHH student population preferred.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and consult with school staff, providing valuable feedback and recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to student success.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and support the needs of DHH students across a range of grade levels, from Pre-K through 12th grade.
• Conduct comprehensive audiology assessments and produce detailed reports.
• Regularly provide consultation to educators and staff, sharing expertise to enhance learning environments for DHH students.
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with staff, students, and families.
• Participate actively in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student educational planning.

This contract assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027. Initial caseload includes a group of nine Pre-K students within the DHH population; further caseload details will be discussed during the interview process.
