Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Understanding of IEP development and special education protocols
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Recommend and fit hearing assistive devices as needed, providing support and training to staff and students
  • Offer consultative guidance to educators and parents regarding hearing loss management in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Deliver ongoing staff in-services or training on hearing health and related technology
