Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Understanding of IEP development and special education protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Recommend and fit hearing assistive devices as needed, providing support and training to staff and students
- Offer consultative guidance to educators and parents regarding hearing loss management in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Deliver ongoing staff in-services or training on hearing health and related technology
