Job Description

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Previous experience in pediatric settings or schools preferred
  • Familiarity with assessment and management of hearing assistive technology
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including hearing screenings and evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized support plans for students with hearing loss or auditory processing disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists to promote access to instruction
  • Provide guidance and training for staff and family members on the use and care of hearing technology and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in audiological care and student advocacy
