Job Description

Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure to practice as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Proficient in administering and interpreting a variety of hearing evaluations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students, including screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students success in school environments
  • Provide recommendations for amplification devices, classroom accommodations, and assistive technologies
  • Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting standards, adhering to privacy and state regulatory requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Deliver in-service training for school staff on hearing loss awareness and intervention strategies
