Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state license (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting hearing screenings, assessments, and evaluations
  • Familiarity with a range of hearing assistive technologies and auditory processing strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing assessments and screenings for students as required
  • Develop and implement individualized recommendations for students with hearing impairments
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students educational plans
  • Manage and calibrate audiology equipment and recommend assistive technology when needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations and services provided
  • Deliver auditory training or counseling to students and families as appropriate
  • Stay updated on best practices in school-based audiology
