Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Audiologist
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and reporting abilities
- Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Must be dependable for scheduled visits
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person audiological evaluations for students two times a month (sessions are 30 minutes each)
- Consult with educational staff to interpret assessment results and recommend classroom accommodations or interventions
- Provide clear, concise reports to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor hearing devices and assist with maintenance or troubleshooting as necessary
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
- Serve as a resource for parents and staff regarding hearing health and best practices
