Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA, or eligible
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop individualized student care plans

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive assessments for students
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to audiology
  • Facilitate the use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assistive listening devices
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Provide auditory training and consultation to support staff awareness and competence
  • Participate in IEP meetings as an expert resource
