Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA, or eligible
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized student care plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive assessments for students
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to audiology
- Facilitate the use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assistive listening devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Provide auditory training and consultation to support staff awareness and competence
- Participate in IEP meetings as an expert resource
