Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff
- Familiarity with auditory processing evaluations and hearing aid/device management
Responsibilities:
- Perform hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations for educational planning
- Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom accommodations and student needs
- Develop and deliver training for staff on hearing loss and effective classroom strategies
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports compliant with school and state protocols
