Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff
  • Familiarity with auditory processing evaluations and hearing aid/device management

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for educational planning
  • Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom accommodations and student needs
  • Develop and deliver training for staff on hearing loss and effective classroom strategies
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports compliant with school and state protocols
