Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Familiarity with hearing screenings, evaluations, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive auditory assessments for students
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for intervention and classroom accommodations
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Document results, write reports, and maintain student records in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Advise on classroom strategies and assistive listening devices to enhance learning for students with hearing loss
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute audiological expertise to the educational team
