Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting hearing assessments and screenings
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students, including hearing screenings and assessments
- Interpret test results and make recommendations for classroom accommodations or interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with hearing loss
- Provide training and support to school staff and families regarding auditory equipment and best practices
- Monitor equipment, troubleshoot devices, and ensure students assistive technology is functioning properly
- Maintain detailed records and provide ongoing support for students auditory needs throughout the school year
