Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (ASHA CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
  • Develop and implement individualized plans for students with hearing impairments
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support student learning and communication goals
  • Fit and maintain hearing aids, auditory trainers, and other assistive devices as needed
  • Provide in-service training and support to school staff regarding hearing loss and assistive technologies
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
  • Consult regularly with families to provide education, resources, and ongoing support
