Job Description

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure to practice Audiology in Massachusetts
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform and interpret audiological evaluations and screenings
  • Knowledge of assistive listening devices, FM systems, and IEP process

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students as referred
  • Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and school personnel to support student success
  • Develop and implement individualized recommendations and accommodations
  • Fit and manage hearing aids and assistive listening technology
  • Document and maintain detailed records of services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings to share recommendations and progress
  • Educate students, staff, and families on hearing conservation and management strategies
