Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
  • Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings, or strong desire to work with children and adolescents
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and management plans
  • Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
  • Offer in-service training and support to school staff regarding hearing loss and auditory needs
