Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based audiologist near Lexington, SC. This full-time, on-site position spans the academic year from August through May, offering the chance to support students hearing health and educational success within a school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
- Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC-A) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings, or strong desire to work with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and management plans
- Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Offer in-service training and support to school staff regarding hearing loss and auditory needs
