Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations strongly desired
  • Knowledge of hearing aid technology, FM systems, and assistive listening devices
  • Familiarity with IDEA/IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with hearing loss and auditory processing disorders
  • Collaborate with educational and support teams to integrate audiological findings into Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive devices as needed
  • Provide education and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on hearing health and device care
  • Maintain detailed records, compliant with federal, state, and district mandates
