Job Description
Contribute your expertise in audiology to support student success as part of a collaborative, school-based team. This part-time contract role, based onsite, offers the opportunity to make a positive impact by providing dedicated audiology services to students across all education levels. With a flexible 2028 hours per week schedule, youll have the chance to engage directly with students and staff during in-person school days, ensuring their hearing and communication needs are met in an educational setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Audiology License issued by the Washington State Department of Health
- Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification in SLP/Audiology
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Adaptable and able to support an itinerant caseload across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations for students at all grade levels
- Developing, maintaining, and documenting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Managing cases and providing consultative support as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
- Overseeing the use and maintenance of specialized audiology equipment within schools
- Providing school-based recommendations and ongoing support to ensure student access and inclusion
