Key Qualifications:

• Masters or doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an Audiologist
• Experience or strong interest in a school or pediatric setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to administer and interpret a full range of audiological assessments
• Aptitude for working collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students across various age groups
• Interpret audiological results and provide recommendations for accommodations or interventions
• Fit, monitor, and troubleshoot hearing aids and other auditory devices
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on auditory health and educational impacts
• Develop individualized service and intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
• Offer on-site or virtual consultation for staff and families about hearing health and classroom strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards in educational settings
