Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state license to practice as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • National certification (ASHA CCC-A or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations or K-12 environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with assessments, interventions, and technology related to hearing health

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audiological evaluations and screenings for students
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive devices
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with federal and state requirements
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
  • Offer staff training and resources to promote hearing health awareness
  • Travel to multiple sites within the district, if required
