Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- National certification (ASHA CCC-A or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations or K-12 environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with assessments, interventions, and technology related to hearing health
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audiological evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations
- Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive devices
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with federal and state requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
- Offer staff training and resources to promote hearing health awareness
- Travel to multiple sites within the district, if required
