Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students as an Educational Audiologist for a short-term contract at the start of the 26-27 school year. In this role, you'll lend your expertise across multiple public school districts near the Cambridge, MN region, ensuring students receive essential audiological support to succeed in their learning environments.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure as an Audiologist in Minnesota
- Certification as an Educational Audiologist or eligibility preferred
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting
- Familiarity with a broad range of hearing assessments and assistive technology for students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and interpret audiological data for students
- Provide direct services and consultation to support students with hearing loss
- Recommend, coordinate, and monitor hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding students hearing needs and accommodations
- Create and maintain thorough records, reports, and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school personnel to advocate for students access and success
