Located near Irmo, SC, this full-time position offers a chance to collaborate directly with students, families, and school staff, making a significant impact throughout the school community. Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited Audiology program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with school-based assessment, intervention, and documentation practices
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Develop, implement, and consult on auditory management and intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding teachers, special education staff, and parentsto identify and support students auditory needs
- Maintain detailed, accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Provide training and resources to school staff related to hearing health and equipment
