This position offers a contract opportunity for a licensed Audiologist to support school-based services within the San Antonio, TX area. The role primarily involves providing audiology support at one main campus, with additional responsibilities for districtwide troubleshooting in collaboration with itinerant teachers. The schedule is approximately 15 hours per week over two days, preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays, from the start date through late May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver audiological services to school-aged children at Mission Academy and other district locations.
- Collaborate with itinerant teachers to address hearing aid repairs and adjustments.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized support aligned with educational audiology standards.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation compliant with state and educational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Audiology.
- State licensure to practice audiology and to fit and repair hearing aids.
- ASHA certification (waiver available if ASHA certified).
- Successful passage of relevant licensing exams.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in school-based audiology or equivalent setting.
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks as required.
Location: San Antonio, TX area (services primarily based onsite at Mission Academy).
