Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as an Audiologist
• Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Knowledge of hearing assessment tools and assistive listening devices
• Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students
• Interpret assessment results and deliver clear recommendations
• Fit, calibrate, and manage hearing aids and related equipment
• Consult with educators and parents to develop strategies supporting students learning
• Provide auditory training and counseling to students, families, and staff
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
